About BQTD

In 1974 Bob Nehrt started the shop under the name Quality Tool & Design in Brownstown, Indiana. In 1994 Tony Nehrt purchased the business from his father and renamed it Brownstown Quality Tool & Design. In 2015 Jared Cummings and Jesse Wheeler, both employees of Brownstown Quality Tool & Design, purchased the business from Tony Nehrt and renamed it Brownstown Quality Tool & Automation. Jesse has been employeed with the company since 1996 and Jared has been with them since 2000.

We strive to maintain a "family oriented" atmosphere. Brownstown Quality Tool continues to look for new technology. We have a wide variety of customers which includes Automotive, Plastic Extrusions, and Military to name a few. We always do whatever it takes to meet our customers due dates.
